Don't do it. Most of the women online are unstable. Also I was on Yahoo personals and they matched me up with no less than 26 drag queens! I'm not kidding. One guylooked like Herman Munster in drag!!!!!!!!!!! I saved them all in a special folder if anyone doubts me! But save yourself grief and go to a bar. The men I met online lied about them selves. Never again!

Did look on line and felt like the biggest loser around a couple of years ago for resorting to this method of meeting single ladies. Met one loser, chatted with many others - some of whom seemed sincere and others let it be known after a while that they were looking for cash etc. But was lucky and met a real lady over two and a half years ago. At present we have a long distance relationship as we live 2.5 hours from one and other. We do speak on phone nightly and get to spend every weekend together. And best of all we are engaged to get married next May 20. So I have gone from feeling like the biggest loser on earth to feeling like the most fortunate man alive because of this lady that I met on line.

When I was single I used online sources for dating because the dating pool here locally (very rural college town) was limited because I could not date students and it seemed all the indivdiuals my age were either married or students.
However, I found my wife via an online ad that I had on yahoo and AOL for over two years. I had mixed success but it did help expand my pool of options.

most people on line lie for the simple fact that they think you will never meet in person.My sister met a guy online and they got married that lasted about a year.

Not I....... you never know who you are really talking to on line so I would not wantt o get mixed up in something and not even know who I was trully get mixed up with!
