I have a room that can be cold in the winter and I'm looking for a manufacturer/brand of ceiling fan with auxillary heating. that can be controlled by a thermostat associated with the ceiling fan.

About as close as you are going to get is this:

This is the first ceiling fan designed to draw in wasted warm air off the ceiling and distribute it throughout a room, effectively heating a 20’ by 20’ by 10’ space using less energy than a small handheld hairdryer. It has a motor that pulls in air and reheats it in four highly efficient ceramic heating elements in just 12 seconds producing an exit temperature twice that of common household heating furnace vents. The main fan then pushes the heated air against the ceiling, down the walls, across the floor and back into circulation.....

There is a type of bathroom fan heater that utilizes a heating coil as the heat sorce. This is operated from a wall switch.

I dont know it there is a ceiling fan that uses this same type of system (becuse the heating coil would look ugly). but that doesn't mean there is some type of heated ceiling fan out there.

You could also just put your computer in the room that you want to heat. computers produce alot of heat, and sence you are running it anyways, why not put it in the room you want a little warmer.

I agree with the answer above! REIKER!!!!!!!!

We just installed these last year to save on heating and cooling! They are GREAT! The quality can't be beat!

They provide heat and a/c!!! No joking! And are powered by a remote that controls the settings to your desires. What nice is there's a dimmer switch for lighting too! My sister and I both have these and the savings add up!

If you go to your local hardware store they should have some on display that will allow you to feel the heat blown directly from them. At our local store they have two colors to pick from. White and stone. They are attractive and I HIGHLY recommend them!

Sounds like the kind that many bathrooms have except most have a wall timer that turns the heat on.

I'm not sure that they make such a thing. I do know that you can reverse the direction of the air flow to bring the warm air down.
