I have had purebred dogs before and in some cases i had to sell them. I generally figure up all the money that went into that specific dog. Shots, how much i paid for him, etc. On how much they cost, it depends on the location. My advice to you would be look in your local newspapers and see how much other golden retrievers are. You don't want to price yours too hight where no one will buy yours but you still want to get at least some of the money you put into the dog. If he has papers then he is worth more. Spayed and netured dogs generally lower the price because most people want purebreds for breeding purposes. You can also ask your vet, he/she should know. Hope I was of help to you and good luck!

It will probably be much harder to sell an 8 month old dog than you think.

While a puppy will usually sell for between $250 and $1500 - depending on your location, you will probably get much less for an eight month old dog.

Price will depend upon: your location, pedigry of the dog (any champion lines ?) disposition of the dog, training of the dog, and whether the dog is up to date on shots, etc.

I'd just worry about finding him a good home with a fenced yard. If he's not neutered you might be able to sell him for breeding. Since he's not a little puppy anymore I think you'd be lucky to get a couple hundred and that's IF he's housebroken and depends on where you live. If you can't keep him just find him a good home and don't worry about money.

It can range for a full breed from2to8 hundred. But keep in mind its better to pay more from a good breeder with a champion blood line. The dog will be less problems to you train easy and all around less health problems down the road.Get one from a cheap puppie mill tend to have behavior and health problems

If you have all the papers for him and he is already nuetered, and all shots are up to date. you should be anble to get around 100.00-200.00.on him. it also depends on the area that you are in as well. like where i live in the iowa people are looking for good hunting males and are willing to pay as much as 300.00. for that old of a dog but i think more resoanible price would be 100 to 200.00.

A lot. Anywhere from $500-$1000, especially for AKC.

It depends - do you want a really good home or do you want to get as much as possible. I've seen them advertised anywhere from $250 to $600.
