Howdy Tim. I've been to many of the Caribbean islands,Costa Rica, places in Mexico, etc. Funny , St. Kitts was the first Caribbean island/nation that I ever visited and was the result of me just randomly picking one (since I didn't know too much about any of them and liked the name). Actually, if you want to visit a Caribbean island that hasn't gotten overly "touristy," St. Kitts (I believe the formal name of the island is Saint Christopher after Columbus and is one of the places that claim to be the first place in the New World he "discovered") is probably the first island I would actually suggest. All the Caribbean islands have a lot to offer and they are all uniquely beautiful in their own way; St. Kitts retains an English flavor to it. As Shay-Shay has said, there isn't a lot in the way of tourist activities like on other Caribbean islands but, on the other hand, there aren't tourists all over the place and you don't get "hassled" by the Kittians like you do from the locals on other islands. You should have a great time and ,if you decide not to go, ask your friends if they'll take me instead.
for the second link below, punch in st. kitts in the search screen and then click on to the link that reads "vacation" they did a pretty good job of showing much of the island.

I just visited St. Kitts recently and my classmates and I stayed in the Mariott and I had the best time. It was so gorgeous and relaxing (The Mariott that is). I am sad to say that the rest of the island is not as gorgeous as the Mariott. The island itself is not as developed as I thought it would be. I've been to many Caribbean islands and St. Kitts did not live up to my expectations. It is a beautiful island (depending on where you are staying at) very rich in culture and has a great history. you will have a great time but don't expect too much.

I extremely have not in any respect extremely chosen an island it is not huge-spread yet there are some that I extremely have not in any respect heard people on YA speaking about. i do not hear then speaking of Dominica (not Dominican Republic), Bonaire and St Vincent between others. although I did visit Dominica and Bonaire yet not St Vincent. I continuously hear people communicate about those you pronounced yet i wager they don't visit the others because they have not in any respect heard of them. You cant be vex with them because they could could head and search for education at the position. How can they e book an section that they not in any respect heard of. at the same time as they're in search of an section to visit I continuously tell them about Barbados and then they settle on they're going to come.
