Gary Rhodes, don't know why!

WOW what a great question !!!! I'm guessing you actually mean Chef otherwise Hyawatha was a pretty good Chief and so is Chief Wiggum from the Simpsons!

Too many to choose from....I can tell you who I don't like, that will be easy -

Gordon Ramsey - What is he all about?!?!? Must have been bullied as a child. Failed footballer and top chef yes...Marco Pierre White...nowhere near.

Delia Smith - C'mon dear, lets be avin ya !!

Nigella Lawson - OK you might be a looker with rather large hips but shouldn't the food be the attraction.

Anthony Bourdoin - Hmm go around the world tasting stuff, tell people what it tastes like and then don't cook a thing !!! Good viewing mate....Not.

Out of all of them my favourtie has to be Keith Floyd, I just love his programmes and he's so funny too, great chef as well which helps.

Anthony Worral Thompson is just superb, all of you folks have to read his autobiography, one of the best I've read. Such a character and bloomin good in the kitchen too, very inspirational.

Two Fat Ladies are brilliant. God rest poor Jennifers soul! Not only was their cooking fantastic but their stories and good humour just make them one of my all time favourites. You can of course class them as great individual cooks but to me they are a team and a they were a great one at that.

Rick Stein is fantastic too, his passion for local produce and all things fishy makes him a true food hero and he's just so nice too, you'd want him as an uncle.

Hairy Bikers - Two fat geeza's on motorbikes travelling the world cooking grub and getting paid for it !!! Clarissa & Jennifer eat your heart out, great stuff.

Ok Jamie Oliver can come across as rather annoying but he's done more for cooking in the home and cooking at schools than anybody else in TV history, he's a great character and a top chef, one of the best.

I used to hate Gary Rhodes because he was always Mr Smiley Smiler Smilerman. When he looks into the camera and describes a how a strawberry tastes with an expression on his face like he's just had an orgasm used to wind me up no end but after seeing him on that BBC cook off program for the Queens dinner thing being so passionate he's gone back up there in my estimations.

All the Ready, Steady Cook regulars are good in my opinion, they are out there as top chefs in their own right but by bringing themselves into mainstream TV they are insipiring young people to get into the industry and parents to get in the kitchen and cook good wholesome family food instead of frozen fat filled rubbish.

So in Summary my top ten -

1. Keith Floyd
2. AWT
3. Two Fat Ladies
4. Rick Stein
5. Jamie Oliver
6. Gary Rhodes
7. Hairy Bikers
8. Paul Rankin
9. Brian Turner
10. Aldo Zilli

Someone I really like and who I think would make an excellent TV chef would be Galton Blackiston, fantastic self taught michellin starred chef and I think he has a great character.

Not sure this answer qualifies as they are not chefs as such.

Si and Dave the hairy bikers.
Down to earth do not have to prove they are celebrities by putting on a show the whole time, trying to out do other chefs.
Two normal guys who tour the world on bikes stopping off to cook and learn some thing about the regional cuisine and what it is like.

Neither are professional chefs but passionate food lovers. Have a good sense of humour and game for anything.

The other passion are the bike and I can relate to that.

James Trevor Oliver, MBE (born May 27, 1975), better known as Jamie Oliver and The Naked Chef, is a British celebrity chef. He is well known for his use of organic food and for his recent work in changing eating habits in British schools. Since his early years his Essex language has become famous – especially the use of the word "pukka" (meaning "brilliant").

That old fart from the south called Justin Wilson. Cool southern accent, had to drink the wine he was cooking with. Plus his items were pretty tasty if you made them.

top chef or not, if I was slogging my **** off for minimum wage in a restaurant and that obnoxious crater faced prat talked to me like he does he'd get a good kick in the dumplings. It has to be the spiky haired guy anyway.

Rachel Ray. She just seems real like the average person. She cooks real food that's never to fancy.
