Come on how do you expect any common man to believe in the Bible,
suppose if a churchman or achristian goes to a person of another religion states him the major facts and says you have to beliveve in him otherwise he will go to hell.
A Hindu will reply, in my religion it is stated when an Evil Ruler(demon) Kansa ruled India in the past and was torturing all his subjects and had an army of demons To do his bidding, Lord Vishnu came in the Avtar of Lord Krishna, he performed
Many miracles, cured a lepper infected hunchbacked lady by the touch of his hand, etc.
And when Kansas evil became Untanneable Krishna killed the Demon Kansa
Vishnu created a city Called Dwarka in India the city has buildings which are 4600 years old.. And finally many of his followers saw him ascend to heaven in the skies there were many wittneses mentioned in our holy books.Lord before going had said every time some evil untanneable forces would come he would come to help his people and he has come to Earth many times in many different Avtars.

This is just their point of view many other religions refer to many other things

Your question seems more like a statement of your beliefs and may God bless you for having such faith in your belief in a higher power. All faiths believe theirs is the way or why would they even be professing it? In the end we will all be judged by how we lived our lives and how we treated one another.

Everyone has a point of view, and we all have a will. That doesn't mean that having them makes them right. Any belief, whether theist or anti-theist, stands or falls on whether it is true or not. Christianity, more specifically the fact that Jesus Christ is who He claims He is, can be substantiated in many ways, by eyewitnesses, many of whom were hostile to Him. We have the Bible, secular sources outside of the Bible, archaeology, reason, logic, human experience, and other means to prove the authenticity of Jesus' claims to be God alone. Whether you are open to examining those claims is up to you. Books by Josh McDowell like Evidence that Demands a Verict, and More than a Carpenter might give you some insight. Books by Ravi Zacharias, a former Hindu from India, like Jesus Among other Gods, might also be helpful. Read the bible, especially the Gosple of John with an open mind and ask yourself was Jesus a Lunatic, a Liar, or is He really the Lord (Who He blaims to be!)? Jesus says that any who come to Him He won't turn away. God bless.

Do some research in actual facts. Not people's opinions. Truth is not concluded because of opinion, but because it is so. Gravity is gravity. If you jump off a bridge, the laws of gravity results in a fall. Go into outer space & gravity is not in relationship with the earth. So astronauts "float" in space. That doesn't mean the people on earth stop being affected by gravity. Sosme push the point that if they themselves have not witnessed something it is not true. That is bunk too. The Bible is God's written Word to communicate to us. We don't have to listen, but that will not change what it says. I think your question is really about God & people use the Bible to try to teach about Him. There are many other things that declare who God is & we don't listen. The old question, if a tree falls in a forest & no one is around, does it make a sound? Sure it does, but no one is there to pay attention. Looking at all the various religions in the world, only Christianity has a Savior who died & raised from death to give me life. Yes, others have risen from the dead. But Christ died for a purpose & was raised to prove who He is. He has yet to be proven other than who He is.

Greetings,
Jesus said that there would be many that would come after Him that would perform all kinds of miracles and signs but that these would be false teachers scince they did not do these things in His name. Krishna may regarded as a god in your religion but what need has he for other god figures. Were he truly a god there would be nothing that he couldn't do or handle by himself, but I notice that your people have other gods that they rely on for different purposes.

In Christianity there is only one God capable of doing all things by Himself. Oh, what about Jesus? Jesus was no more than an extention of the one God to have a different mission and to communicate this mission to people as they could or would not have been able to have received this instruction directly form Him because of the magnificence of His glory is to brilliant for the eyes of His people. Oh, what about the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit is another extention of the one God which has a mission different than that of Jesus or God the figurehead. His mission is to dwell in those that believe in Jesus Christ and love God the Father of all. When The spirit indwells in a person then that person has a more personal connection with God and will be directly guided and directed as to the purposes that God has for that persons life.

Jesus stated unequivicably that there was no other name given under heaven that could save no not one.

Too bad your god doesn't attempt to at least be somewhat like the Christian God. Don't you feel that the type of relationship that they have is a much more desirable situation than the one your people have with theirs that sits aloof and non communicative with them on a continual basis instead of knowing that a christian has the attention of their God daily in their personal lives.

Well, Christianity is the only religion whose founder is no longer dead. So Jesus knows something that no one else knows.

Jesus returned from the dead and appeared to over 500 witnesses (according to Paul) to show that he was alive again.

John 6:67-69
" 'You do not want to leave too, do you?' Jesus asked the Twelve.
Simon Peter answered him, 'Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We believe and know that you are the Holy One of God.' " (NIV)

I don't know if this answers your question or not, but one of the main reasons that I believe in Christianity is that the people who knew Jesus were willing to be tortured to death rather than change their story that they saw Jesus return from the dead.

If the apostles were lying about seeing the resurrected Christ, then why didn't they take back their story when they were individually being tortured to death? Every one of the apostles (Except John, who died a natural death in exile on Patmos), were killed for their faith. Wouldn't a liar recant this story to save his own life?

What did the apostles have to gain by making it all up? What good does power, control or fame do for a dead person?

I accept the apostles' story because the witnesses were creditable.

PS: Yes, I have heard the crack about suicide bombers, but the main difference between the modern bombers & the apostles are: (1) the bombers did not see Mommand personally, so they are not eye-witnesses to anything (Unlike Peter, & Paul, who claimed to see Jesus alive with their own eyes and then died rather than take it back); and, (2) the bombers are killing innocent people (others) for their faith, not suffering for it (I assume that blowing yourself up is quick & painless compared with being crucified.).

Q: Why do you call "Jesus Among Other Gods" your most significant book?

A: There was no life so impeccably lived as His. There are those who've claimed prophetic status who have led pretty heavily duplicitous lives. But in Christ, you never see that. You never find Him in any compromising situation that shows itself where He was driven by the sensuality of the moment. After 2000 years, no name has been scrutinized more, none abused or challenged more in the public media.
I find a lot of Western journalists intellectually cowardly here. They would never do with Mohammed what they do with Jesus. They don't have the courage to do that. If the major magazines — Time, Newsweek or U.S. News and World Report — did with Mohammed on one of their major festivals what they do to Jesus on Christmas or Easter, they probably wouldn't be in existence any more.

Q: Why are people so fascinated with Eastern religions?
A: Because they give you the privilege of morality without having God. Even aspects of the entire New Age movement are a moralizing philosophy without the positing of a central deity. Buddhism also gives you that. Bahaism gives you a pluralistic view, and a lot of aspects of Hinduism give you a moral framework with no accountability other than the karmic system. There's no linear movement or point of accountability toward God.
I was in a hearing with [former presidential speechwriter] Peggy Noonan years ago and she asked this question: Do terrorists fear anything? I said, 'I suspect they would fear a morally strong America.' They would know that a morally strong America would not be dislodged. You can always appeal to a point of vulnerability which would break a people up. [Terrorists] don't fear so much the weaponry as the moral courage, and I think a morally strong America would be intimidating to them. ...

...Q: How can Christianity meet the needs of a place like India?
A: I was born and raised in Bombay and I go back there twice a year. India is agony writ large. The voices of the millions are not heard. Walk through the streets of Calcutta and it hits you. At the same time, it's the center of India's learning. Some of her greatest philosophers come from Calcutta. The first thing Christianity does is raise the level of every individual. There's an essential dignity. Every human being is of essential worth.
The second thing it does is give the impetus to love and reach out in a way that rescues the person, not just the function. Look at where the missionary organizations — the hospitals, orphanages and health care — came from. I spoke three weeks ago at Bahrain at the 100th anniversary of the American missionary hospital, which was founded in Saudi Arabia and now is in Bahrain. Many of the sheiks were born there and several were represented in the audience to which I spoke. From where came the impetus? It came from the love of Christ.

It is the job of EVERT True Christian to present The Way to everyone.

After that presentation the job of that True Christian is finished (except for Prayer).

It is up to the Hearer to accept or reject.

I do understand what you wrote -
But ALL other things aside, the Christian is expected to Evangelize.

I am saddened that over eager people turn in to BIBLE THUMPERS when they really have no reason to do so.
It does, of course, only defeat their endeavors and give
Christianity a bad name.
