What does that have to do with anything? Hygiene has nothing very much to do with salvation. In the OT days when women did a lot harder housework than today, I'm sure they appreciated a few days off....

I think, based on the lack of analysis of the parts that are obvious garbadge, ie exodus 21:20-21 - the master who beats the slave and the slave lives goes unpunished, which they believe to be the word of god, that regardless of the part about menstruration, they would believe its the word of god.
They would say, its clear to me this is the fingerprints of God.
Same with anyone with their book. Thats the problem with persons who believe a book is the word of god, a critical analysis is lacking.
THeres lots of Chrsitians who "don't believe all of the Bible". What a hard task, to go through and decipher the life lessons that apply to them. What courage.

OK, that's enough of that...
There are other things in the bible that make about as much sense. For example, if someone today told you that a burning bush told him how to live, would you follow him, have him arrested/committed, or ask him to share?
How do we know it wasn't Marijuana, or Jimson Weed, or worse still... a complete fabrication?
Think about it...
