Hi
White stools indicate a problem with the liver, and bile production. There are many things that could be happening from blocked bile ducts to a contagious disease like Hepatitis. Make an appointment with your doctor right away. He will most likely send you to a gastroentologist for a through exam and blood work. Don't wait this is serious. Good Luck.

The answers above indicating that this is liver malfunction are absolutely correct. The differential diagnosis would include hepatitis A, B or C, biliary obstruction or other severe liver disease. I would bet the whites of your eyes are also quite yellow (jaundice), and your skin may be also.

This is a serious matter, and if your doc won't see you today, go to one of the "doc in the box" places or even the ER. They need to get on top of this so you don't sustain permanent and irreversible liver damage and wind up on a transplant list.

I am sure there are different things causing this white situation. It does indicate liver disease and is a red flag often. This is not a list to scare folks but I would like to see you get to a doctor and ask them. May be something really simple. As the liver is more and more unable to make cholesterol and all the other enzymes it changes the way the body elimates and is able to metabolize things we ingest into our bodies. That is all I have heard on this...

You should go and see your doctor immediately, usually change of stool colour to pale or white is related to the function of the liver. It is important you see a doctor about this at once.
