possibly, but there are SO many other possibilities.

It could be a sign of diabetes, or more likely a condition called KETOSIS. ketones are harmful organic chemicals which arise from the digestion of protein, and they can lead to big problems in people.
SEE a doctor, and ask him about Ketosis, Ketoacidosis and that you want a KETONE count done!

Also, a major sign of it is if you can actually SMELL ammonia on your breath... best of luck

look up Ketogenic diet as well, foods you may be eating too much of can contribute to it.

the liver usually turns amonia into urea.
yes, if the liver shuts down your blood levels of ammonia will rise.
