Jesus didn't say go give them a hug, eventhough that is what any of these might need. You can show love in many different ways.
To limit ourselved to just physical affection, would be to rob others of the opportunity for them to truly see Christ in me or others.
passing out bottled water, offering to wash car windows for free, offering to clean restaurants toilets for free. These are all things I would do, to show Jesus to someone. it is more important to show love to them because it opens up the door. some people are shocked that we would do this to show God's love to them. Our actions have to match our words and people that dont't believe in Jesus want to see both

What a profound question. We have been in great study of life and in the question of which U speak FORGIVENESS is the key. Not only the FORGIVENESS of others but for the Self who has placed so much judgment on all life. How could we not see the beauty of ALL THERE IS and in seeing there we are too. Have we not to been these people of which U speak? If only in thought which we may have given a playful thought to. Do we not create our own reality? Nothing is as it seems and to known the unknown is far grander then we could ever imagine. Let us then hug and rejoice in knowing that we are becoming....So be that.

Sorry, about the best I could do is tolerate these folks silently, and do my best not to spit on them or say something nasty. This is especially true about the especially hateful "rev" Phelps and his hate-spewing klan.
Not so sure about Chuck E. Cheese being evil, he keeps all those kneebiters away from me for hours at a time . . . .

I think I would have definite trouble hugging any of them!!
I've read so many books on the holocaust, it isn't funny!
My heart goes out to the pain these people endured! Hitler
was a digusting man!!! And I have a lot of german in me.
I've always had trouble turning the other cheek! God help me!

Jesus taught us to love our neighbor... no qualifications, and he described our neighbors as ones who did acts of love, like the man that cared for the robbery victim while others turned away. So if Hitler did an act of love for me, I would hug him, but it is doubtful that one with so sinful a nature could ever do an act of kindness, so I would just love him from afar and pray for him.

Maybe not, but I would pray for them. You're right, LTE is the hardest part of the Christian life. Note that it says "love" not "like." But real Christlike love is not a goopy, "everything is beautiful" emotion, but a decision, an act of will. Jesus loves and saves us because he Chooses to do it, not because we are deserving or special.

Chuckie Cheese is Mickey's ugly cousin. Be nice.
Every one needs a hug now and then, right?

Don't forget to hug John Mark Karr. His mama was an Christian evangelist. He's just a typical Alabama, red-state redneck who married a 13 year old. C'mon Christians...feel the love!
