Mrs Balbi, Campbelltown, Adelaide, Australia in 1967....my first ever teacher. She was so kind to everyone, gentle, caring, remembered my name and was cuddly if we got worried. I got my first ever book to write in and it smelt so good, a set of coloured pencils to keep!
I waited sooo long to go to school and was excited as anything when I finally go to go...earlier than some. Because my birthday was later than the start of the year (in March), they said I'd have to wait till the next year BUT I already knew how to read, as my mom had taught me and I begged so they allowed me in earlier. I was so happy and proud to help the other kids that couldnt read yet.
My only major downfall from grace, for myself, was in the first week, when I didnt remember to go to the toilet in recess....and asked to go during the lesson and the teacher wouldnt let me. I waited so long I couldnt hold it anymore and wet myself. So next break I went out and sat in a puddle. I spent the next few hours in a raincoat...cold as hell....eeeww. I always loved school though and learning was fascinating.

Meeting new people who affected my life. I was a member of JROTC, (I know a bunch of nerdy dorks), but this program helped me and I met a lot of different people who helped me in so many ways. Without this program, I don't think I would be the same person that I am today. I learned and grew a lot in high school, have fun!

We were taking a spelling test and I sat right by my cousin. He copied my paper. Everything. Even my name. Now, my kindergaten class only had 9 people in it, so it was pretty obvious what had happened...
I still make fun of him.
Best memory ever.

One year closer to graduation... Seriously. I have no particular memories from high school, other than being ready to graduate and go to college.

I really dont remember it all that well. I remember riding the tricycles and having snack and nap time. I was a little kid without worrries and bills. So I guess that everyday was a happy day.

Before homeroom and the day began, everyone would pull out there sticker books and we would peel different stickers off and trade with each other.

My best memory from kindergarten is getting to *finally* put my name on the giant tooth that meant you lost a tooth - it was great! I felt so grown up. ;)
