Mexico was not & will not be invited. They bring nothing but trouble to the bargaining table. We do not want Canada & they have lots of resources. We are happy with our size & trying to curb growth.
Building factories in Mexico would be of no help if they were Americans - their pay would be the same & the enviormental laws would be the same. I would like that to happen in Mexico but not at America's expense. We import from numerous countries & it would break the world market if world trade stopped.

If we annex Mexico and turn it into a state of the US, we will have even more illegal immigration from southern countries....
Central American countries are much poorer than Mexico
the only reason we have more immigrants from Mexico is because of location....

Exactly what resources does mexico have to bring to the table? Oh yes, I forgot, drugs, corruption, uncivilized, uneducated people. If this were to happen, I think you would quickly find that these workers are much better at working the system than actual work.
NO AMNESTY (by any name)
Local & State Enforcement
Repeal the 14th amendment

NO, no 'shotgun marriage' to Mexico, thank you. Mexico needs to stand up, unify, and take issue with their OWN socioeconomic problems, instead of trying to arc-weld their country to ours. 'Help' is one thing, no, you can't move in. Sorry!
Mexico has a 1 trillion dollar GDP. Mexico has 110 million citizens. Apparently what's lacking/hard to find in Mexico is Motivation, and Direction. And, maybe some math skills, not that ours are perfect in america, but this is getting ridiculous. NO more US tax dollars to prop up Mexico, kid's never going to learn to ride the bike for real until the training wheels come off. I've got a wrench! LOL
Support the US Border Patrol, the completion of the US/Mexico border fence, severe fines against US employers that violate labor laws by hiring illegals, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement service, and take advantage of your next city council meeting to express your direct displeasure with the general failure to take effective initiative to prevent illegal immigration.
Mexico really needs to discover some of that civic spirit for themselves, and take the actions necessary to build their own hospitals, schools, roads, and stop trying to exclusively live off the United States. It's called 'independence', and the sooner they declare theirs, and we ours from them, the sooner Mexico will be on its' way upward in the world, where it will be a prosperous and successful nation in all ways including economics. And, it's about damn time, if you ask me...'no mas' to illegal immigration. LEGAL immigration only, and that in measured quantities.

for many reasons, for one not everybody wants to be american, for another, we have factories in mexico, and for a third, they would then be bound by all the same rules and regulations we are. so it would not only hurt our economy, but theirs as well. taxes, social sevices etc.

America has everything it wants. Let them build their country. What's the matter with those people? They should be a world power like us.
Mex., stay home, build your own country, we don't want or need you.
