Why didn't you just ask me in the first place, you know I'm a fashion/shopping freak.
It is no longer considered wrong to wear white after labor day, but I do consider it wrong for any man to ever wear a white belt or white shoes unless they are athletic shoes. Makes them look gay.

It is only incorrect to wear white shoes and belts after Labor Day. Some silly young girls will cry out "that is not true anymore" but it is...those people do not follow fashion they follow fads. They are the same people that will wear a brown belt and black shoes!
You do not wear white shoes between Labor day and Memorial day because those are 'winter' months in most climates and a white shoe does not go with the season.

Because you blend in with the snow? That's an ancient rule that most people don't abide by and "winter white" has been around for years. In Texas our summer lasts well past Labor Day so it's not unusual to see people wearing white summer clothes (including belts & shoes) well into late fall or even winter.

i lately moved down south from the frigid north. outstanding white clothing are oftentimes light-weight and bigger of a summer element. It seems somewhat stupid to be in white cotton pants at the same time as the leaves are turning and there is a nip contained in the air. notwithstanding, down south the following the position it continues to be warmth till Thanksgiving, people placed on white see you later because the elements is contained in the eighty's or more effective constructive. one element for effective, the white gown footwear & sandals could get tucked away after demanding artwork Day.

it is archaic, but not without value. After all there are decidely "fall" colors and "spring" colors. And a person just looks weird wearing so many bright colors in winter. Just stick to not wearing white shoes and belts

This rule went out a long time ago. Wear your white anytime you want.

It actually doesn't really apply as much anymore. Fashion these days is less about rules and more just about being yourself.
