I never heard of a tumor "burning" for the love of God. As a matter of fact pain comes from celluar destruction and or the stimulation of nerve receptors..so if the later is true lets exam... If female lets assume good health. Not consistent or increase in intensity or you wouldn't be on yahoo ... you would be in a hospital... so lets rule out appendicitis which rarely affects bilateral lower abdominal pain. With females bilateral usually indicates her reproductive organs because the GI tract is not symmetrical..hmmm could you just be ovulating, maybe even Pelvic inflammatory disease are you sexually actice? and/or do you heavy cycles? could be endometriosis... I would see your OB/GYN for a physical and Pap..

Burning tumors give me a break med student....

Is it constant, intermittent, better/worse with particular foods/positions/actions like coughing or straining, etc. My first thought is a hernia, although both sides at the same time would be less common.

Could be serious things like tumors (not nesecarily cancer)
could be shingles (again, very rare to be both sides)

I'd see the doc to find out.

I would definatly see a doctor. Sorta sounds like a hernia, but would want to see it looked at.
