I think you are mistaken. Dishonesty and misrepresentation is a violation of our code. In my own path, they are the greatest violations, in fact. Just about anything else is permissable. But unlike some codes, this dishonesty goes beyond lying. We also cannot lie by omission. Now why on Earth would someone say they were getting information from Darkness, when they were, in fact not? And why would someone need to preface anything by saying they were a witch? And what does the fact that someone is a witch have anything to do with Wiccans and Pagans? There are Christian witches too, you know. Many Traditional Witchcraft and High Magick traditions have Christian rather than Pagan roots. Educate yourself before making yourself look so silly.

And I'll bet you believe Christianity is the only way to go. So what if he didn't come outright and say he was a Wiccan-because it is Wiccan, and not witch, get it right. Wiccans do not use "powers of darkness" as you call it, there is no such thing. Do a little research and stop being so narrow-minded and you might learn something other than how to generalize a religion you know nothing about.
But given the current history of Christianity, why am I surprised?
And now, looking at your questions, you have an unusual curiosity/intolerance for Pagans and Wiccans.
Piece of advice-Get a life.

I know that many Christians are inherently dishonest, judgmental busybodies. .You are a prime example, no one has to force your hand to show what an a$$ you are. You must think you are the grand inquisitor.
How dare that impostor give spiritual advice! How dare he, when the majority of Christians on this site set them selves up as the the most pulpit- pounding Bible -pushing righteous , mealy mouthed , martyrs to ever spout a proverb o'er the Seven Hills of Rome!
Get a life, Bob, better yet , get a degree in theology and go preach damnation to a congregation that are all in your Amen Corner.

Many Christian traditions come from Pagan rites, this way it was easier for Christianity to convert people into their faith. I'm not a Pagan, I'm an Athiest, but before I made that choice I was smart enough to read up and study various religions to see which one was right for me (Apparently none of them), but if I were forced to choose, I'd pick Pagan or Wiccan before Chistianity. They're closer to the truth than you are. I suggest you really delve into the history of Christianity, and I don't mean just the books sitting in your pastors library.

You speak of dishonesty, as if only "born again Christians" can give honest answers. In paraphrase, let us not forget the inquisition, the spanish inquisition, the crusades, the haulocaust, the Ku Klux Klan, and last but not least, the PLF. What a track record Christianity has, with that in mind, I wouldn't trust a Christians answer, they may round us up, and put us to death, just because we believe a little differently.

WHen i was a christian i was called a liar and a thief. Now that im Pagan im still called a liar and a thief,
1 you dont even know us to call us names
2 youre jealous because your religion is seen as a fraud and a phony because fundies like you destroy your religion
3 Your God is not worthy of being called God anymore than Hitler is
4 You hate the world that the real God created and we love it making you look like a loser.
to top it off this top ten list probably describes you to a T:
10 - You vigorously deny the existence of thousands of other gods claimed by other religions, but feel outraged when someone denies the existence of your god.
9 - You feel insulted and "dehumanized" when scientists say that people evolved from lower life forms, but you have no problem with the Biblical claim that we were created from dirt.
8 - You laugh at polytheists, but you have no problem believing in three gods- the trinity.
7 - Your face turns purple when you hear of the "atrocities" attributed to Allah, but you don't even flinch when hearing about how God/Jehovah slaughtered all the babies of Egypt in "Exodus" and ordered the elimination of entire ethnic groups in "Joshua" --including women, children, and trees!
6 - You laugh at Hindu beliefs that deify humans, and Greek claims about gods sleeping with women, but you have no problem believing that some spirit impregnated Mary, who then gave birth to a man-god who got killed, came back to life and then ascended into the sky.
5 - You are willing to spend your life looking for little loopholes in the scientifically established age of Earth (4.55 billion years), but you find nothing wrong with believing dates recorded by Bronze Age tribesmen sitting in their tents and guessing that Earth is a couple of generations old.
4 - You believe that the entire population of this planet with the exception of those who share your beliefs --though excluding those in all rival sects - will spend Eternity in an infinite Hell of Suffering. And yet consider your religion the most "tolerant" and "loving."
3 - While modern science, history, geology, biology, and physics have failed to convince you otherwise, some idiot rolling around on the floor speaking in "tongues" may be all the evidence you need to "prove" Christianity.
2 - You define 0.01% as a "high success rate" when it comes to answered prayers. You consider that to be evidence that prayer works. And you think that the remaining 99.99% FAILURE was simply the will of God.
1 - You actually know a lot less than many atheists and agnostics do about the Bible, Christianity, and church history - but still call yourself a Christian.

i think you are forever damned to have a closed mind. us pagans do not get our information from 'the powers of darkness'. satanists do. but guess what bob...we don't believe in satan. we like to believe that people are inherently good. why do you skulk around pushing christ on people? because you have faith and you want others to find faith. but you know what...not all people share your beliefs!!! GET OVER IT! odds are..pablito is a better person than you. he, at least, is more open minded.

Nobody's making you read Pablito's advice. If you think they don't know what they're talking about just because they don't share your faith, then don't bother listening.
There are honest and dishonest people of every religious persuasion, by the way. Please don't try to tell us that ALL Christians are inherently honest because I'm sure I'm not the only one who would think that a total crock.

Dude, this is not the 1600s. Wiccans are not getting their "powers" from darkness. They are spiritual naturalists that believe in the powers of mother Earth.
Get off of your high horse and get your head out of your a@s you narrow minded bible thumper.
Have you ever seen Monty Python and the Holy Grail, because I think you would fit right in with the Witch scene. It seems like they would be your type of people.

There are dishonest people in EVERY religion. I've met plenty of dishonest Christians and others from other religions.
Please do not judge an entire demographic of people for the words and actions of a few. That is decidedly UN-Christian of you.
