Well the jury is out on the level of virema (littlie bugger virii) and levels of range and how it affects the liver. 1 million is a high load as I remember and is not that uncommon in certain genotypes. I read an abstact regarding original infection and viral load which stated that if you contracted HCV through transfusion you get a ton of the virus at the get go, if you did IV drugs there is less of an amount at time of infection....go figure and who knows really? I do know that in genotypes 2 and 3 it seems hundred thousands are prevelant and in genotypes 1 A and B higher titers. I am a 1b genotype and have a current count of 689,000,370 and back in 1998 actually acheived a sustained response (cleared the virus for a week only) so in my case I seem to just cultivate easily. It is all so body personal and has a lot to do with lifestyle in the end. So yes it is a high viral load but compared to what? none I guess.

its considered very low but this does not mean its not doing damage.
i know many who have very high levels of hcv virons with little impact on the health and know many (including myself) who had around 10,000,000 copes/ml of virons and had severe health issues....
anything about 25,000,000 million is considered high
