My Former Roomate had one. That thing would bark if the wind blew, and she was super aggressive, biting at my feet every time I walked in the house.
What do you think? Is there any other dog that is more annoying than a JRT?

1. Yes, I have left that house.
2. The house had a fenced in area out back, with a doggy-door, so the dog could go in and out as she pleased during the day while no one was home.

I had a JR and she was so good with kids and very trainable. Show her a trick once and then twice and she got it. Never had a dog like that in my life and I have had a few. Was a great watch dog. A man broke into our garage at 3 am. My JR (Molly) was under my blanket and she started to bark and got very nervous. I woke up looked out my bathroom window and saw a man standing in front of my garage. I ran downstairs opened the door let out Molly and the guy hopped the fence with a piece of his *** in her mouth. Now she has died and I have a Bic hon Frise. Which is a sweet dog for an apartment.

The Jack Russell is a happy, bold, energetic dog; they are extremely loyal, intelligent and assertive. Their greatest attribute is their working ability, closely followed by their excellent qualities as a companion. A Jack Russell can be equally contented bolting a fox or chasing a toy in your living room, or equally adept at killing a sock in the living room or a rat in your barn. Their funny antics will continually amuse you, their intelligence seems to know no bounds and their assertive nature and boundless energy can at times be overwhelming. The unique personality of this feisty little terrier is capturing the hearts of many, but they are not a dog for everyone. There mostly Hunter dogs. Breed Group: Toy Weight: 6 lbs Height: 6-9 inches Training: The Chihuahua can be difficult to train, but with patience, love, and consistency do well. They respond best to positive reinforcement. Chihuahuas can be housetrained by either the crate method or the paper training method. Early, extensive, and intensive socialization is an absolute must for this breed.Ownership: If you are looking for Chihuahua puppies for sale from reputable Chihuahua breeders or to adopt a Chihuahua from a Chihuahua rescue then make sure you understand as much about the dog breeds you are interested in as you can. Every puppy breed is different. Begin your research by reading the breed information about the Chihuahua puppy above. Search our dog breeds section to find Chihuahua puppies, dogs and puppies that make great pets.

They some times can be annoying. Not all Jack russel terriers are. Another breed that can be annoying is Rat Terriers( if you are a novice at dog breeds, you would think the two are the same because they look so much alike).

I have a JRT...very smart and persistent dogs. But you have to be consistent and make sure they understand that you are the alpha.
If you train them properly and very often they can be the best friend you ever had...mine is annoying at times but he just wants attention. They are very active and can be very demanding. They are hunting dogs so they can find anything...Mine looks for tennis balls all day. I dont know how he does it! Yes, they are very territorial but many breeds are like that...They chew on new things like your shoes and feet and other things because they get bored very quickly and need new toys every now and then. Maybe there isnt enough attention being shown. JRT's can play all day and exhaust you without a doubt. They are a challenge but they are really worth it. And his barking is fine with me because where I live I need to feel that if he's up and aware of something suspicious I'm up and ready to knock someone out with a bat....lol...I dont think they are the most annoying breed on earth. I dont know any breed that is annoying. A dog is a dog to me no matter how you put it. I just think they are way too smart for their own good and people misunderstand them. Thats why so many people give them away or complain about what a nuisance they are. They arent like "Wishbone" or "Milo" from The Mask once they are born. If you discipline them really well, TRUST ME they are less annoying than you think...Have a great weekend!

This is why the JRT Rescues are overwhelmed, overcrowded & the breed club has been begging people to thoroughly research the breed (& consider adopting a rescue) BEFORE buying for years! Unfortunately, most people just saw 'calm ' Eddie on 'Fraiser' and rushed to the puppy mill outlet (i.e.pet store) & bought one, not reading a thing about the breed first. Like all the young girls who are on here now asking where to buy 'teacup' Chihuahuas every 5 seconds because of Paris & company. Ugh. When we people learn it is a living, breathing, shedding, occasional shoe-chewing 10-15 year commitment, not a flavor-of-the-week/handbag accesory? The shelter workers could use a break.

Actually I met a Chihuahua that lived on a house in the middle of nowhere next to a shooting range in Arizona. It was really cute and didn't bark at all. It wasn't annoying at all, it just loved people. Usually when I hear Chihuahua I think of white pampered little puppies living on a mansion that yaps all day. But thats not always the case.

If a dog is annoying then it's the owners fault, some breeds, like the JRT, are so smart and full of energy that they need to be trained and have something to do, if they are bored and untrained then they are a pain in the ***, which is not the dogs fault, it is a people problem. There are many breeds of dogs that need to 'work' to be happy well adjusted animals.People need to do their homework before they get a dog.

Unfortunately this is another breed that was made popular by a TV show and you've got all kinds of people buying them and worse, breeding them, who know nothing about the breed traits, what they were bred for or how to handle them.
Not really the dogs' fault!

They are pretty annoying, my sister currently owns one and that dog is a brat. It's quite possible that chihuahuas are slightly more annoying because most of them are so yappy.
