i got a salt water pool and it seems like the dye in my hair has come out more often during the summer cause im always in the pool.... i thought clorine water did that... or is it both?

chlorine, salt water, and the sun is your hairs worst enemy.

before getting in the pool, apply a leave in conditioner to your hair to keep the moisture in and wash and apply again as soon as you leave the pool

if you want to get dye out of your hair try products that are designed to do so by trying to get rid of hair color using salt water it will damage your hair and the color want come right out either it will fade out and go weird colors before eventually coming out there are a few products i have seen around that remove unwanted color i wish they were around when i dyed my hair or parts of my hair blue i think one product is called start again or something like that

water in general takes out dye. Especially if you go swimming all summer long, you will see a difference in your color.

both. spending a lot of time in any water is going to have an effect on hair color.

its both...but dont be fooled that its only the dye that's being washed off...it is affecting ur hair adversely too..take precautions for ur hair,or it'll be damaged in no time.

It wont bleach it out .It just wont last as long
