The angel never prononuced anything close to "Jesus" to Mary. how can that name have any authority seeing it isn't correct? Who authorized the change?

Thank you yes I knew His name was Yeshua, but it also in any other language is going to be pronounced Yeshua. Just because your "Bob" in USA, that don't make you "Frank" in any other language just be cause Bob means Frank there. You don't sign your name according to local customs, you sign Bob everywhere.

His name is Yeshua which means "The Lord Saves." Jesus means the same thing, only it's Greek.

If some one say from Italy were to say your name, it would probably sound a lot different than if some one from China. The name would be the same although the pronunciation would be different. So in my case Tom would translate in Italian to Thomaso, in another part of the world it would be Maso, Personally I would answer to either. What makes you think that Jesus only speaks Aramaic, or only Latin or only English.

It is the intent with which you use the name not the grammar that is important.

Hmmmmm.....

I can claim authority and receive help from my Mom (but that's not really her name).
I think the relationship we have is more important than the actual word.
