Type in your Zip Code and it will find dogs from shelters local to you, and will list the dog shelter information.
Also, the ASPCA has a site where you can find shelters

I do not know that but the best way is go to the telephone directory in your city/Town and look up SPCA under the COUNTY listings.. OR go and ask a Vet's office.
