Strange question, but which brand of Catfood do you think is better, Felix or Whiskas? Or are there any other brands better than them?

Well I feed him both, Whiskas Kitten food and Felix Kitten food, he seems to prefer Felix tho. I would like to feed him dry food, but because of his age i can't...yet. He could choke.
What food what ppl recommend for when he's older? Keep in mind I live in N.Ireland so all brands aren't availible to buy.

I was once told (and I don't know how true it is) that Whiska's has something in it to which cats become addicted. I was advised never to feed Whiska's alone, but to alternate it with other food. I always have three boxes of food open at a time for my cat, Whiska's, Kitekat and felix. that way she only gets to manufacturers product every 4 meals so does not become 'fussy' on one particular brand.

We have owned cats for many years, and bred them for the past 5. So a lot of kittens have passed through our hands. We have always varied their brands of food, Felix, whiskers, kit e Kat, go Cat and super markets own brands (cheaper) that way you will find out what your cat prefers. Sometimes they like some flavours from one brand and other flavours from a different brand.
As for dry food, Go Cat do a kitten dry food in a box, the biscuits are a lot smaller in size. And don't worry, they wouldn't choke on a larger biscuit because they nibble them first.

My cat loved Whiskas and didn't touch Felix or Friskies. The high-end foods like Royal Canin and Iams are the best you can get. Purina is horrible.

Not only is Whiskas bad for you cats, it has small parts of anti freeze in it, scary isn't it.
I feed my kitten Natural Choice or anything NutroMax.
Be very careful with what you give your cats, do research.
There is alot of bad things out there that not many people know about.
Cheap isn't always good.

I stay away from both cos of sugars found in them, i was told this from the breeder i got my cat from so i only feed my cat Royal Canin dried food with the occasional wet food added to the diet as a treat.

It depends on the particularities of your little kitty.. Mine, for example, does not like either Felix or Whiskas but ONLY Fancy Feast.. Unfortunately it is more expensive and that is why I do not know whether to continue buying Fancy Feast or get rid of the cat? Which should I do?
