Gidget, do you drive a car? If so, you'd better go find yourself an 'I love Bush' sticker for that car, 'cause we ain't got 'nuff oil in 'merkuh to fuel your car independently of the middle east.
Like it or lump it, Bush is the poor slob in charge of trying to satisfy YOUR needs. Buy a clue, lady, or move to Pakistan, or something so u can be with your spiritual brethren...nothing personal, but really...the world is what it is, we can wish it was different, but in this one, the same consumer model that lets us have this conversation has built a HUGE demand for petroleum, and a lot of it is in the middle east. Maybe you don't like war, I'm not a big fan of it either, but there it is. Support our troops, and make life easier on all concerned by taking your foot off the gas pedal once in a while. Buy some good shoes while you're at it, 'cause the healthcare infrastructure's short on money, too. It's overloaded by people living in our country illegally and using up our health services along with the regular customers who've signed up for chronic heart disease by becoming too reliant on cars for ALL their transportation needs. Do you go to the drive-thru, Gidget? Are you REALLY in that big of a hurry? Decisions, decisions, times 1,200 million people=big mess. If you want to 'fight' against war etc., vote for more energy conservation, figure out how to cut 10 gallons a week out of what you do, air up your tires, slow DOWN, don't sit around idling or whatever, if you've got more than one car, get in the second one, drive to the store, buy a 'for sale' sign, and put a price on it and stick it in the window of car #2 as soon as you get home, call the papers, get it listed, get RID of it. Jimmy Carter was right about conservation, whether people wanna give him props for it, or not. Cause, and effect, Gidget, kind of like Mexico's overpopulation problem bleeding over into the United States, eh? LOL

Yeah, it's sad, huh? What's even more sad is that since so few people vote, these people may be over represented. Of course, I'm guessing that if someone's as screwed up as that, they don't vote anyway.

The alternative might be worse, though. If you do away with the democratic process of public vote, then all of a sudden you relinquish control of government to those with ulterier agendas and the ones who hold office won't have any accountability.

You are stupid. People vote because that is what our government is founded on, the majority rules. So if you are saying that people should not vote because of their views, you are trying to take away the very thing this country was founded on. Freedom. Freedom to have the country be what the majority wants.

I am not sure who you are referring to here. Both Repubs and Dems seem to encourage illegal aliens crossing over. Or are you referring to the illegal aliens who may be granted amnesty and letting them vote? Who wants to kill people that are different? Thats not happening. The extremist Muslims are the only ones killing people they specifically don't like.
I against amnesty for illegal aliens, and I demand a wall be built immediatley. That will prevent people from dying in the desert, won't it!

No we do not. Considering they come from countries ruled by dictators, they have no respect for the rule of law or the concept we are a nation of laws not men. They look at the Constitution as a peace of paper, not as the foundation of our society.

Do we want these people for our neighbor? The rulers of Mexico who send their people to their deaths in the desert?

I'm rethinking the suggestion someone made that the US should take over Mexico...then, we would be in charge and there would be no greedy Mexican leaders who kill their people...anymore...

I think that if America is so great...let's make her bigger and just get rid of the rabble that send their criminal element to our land...then...all can be equally taxed and in doing so, we just might get rid of our welfare system.

(which is being so used and so abused by illegals)

No we don't. But people have been like that since the beginning of time so it doesn't really make a difference whether or not it's fair that they get to vote.

Excuse me ?? My personal problems are my own. Now someone leaving their baby in another country is not my problem. Dying in the desert again NOT my problem. AND I have NEVER said I want to kill anyone ! Where are you getting your info ?? From your @** ??!!??

These people that come here illegally take the chance NO ONE told them to come here, we do NOT want them here. If they make the choice to come here they know the dangers and what they leave behind......I did not tell them to make those choices !!

~add on~ Where have I said that ??

Those that you refer to as Dying in the desert have VOLUNTEERED to serve their country however the leaders and commanders apointed over them see fit. they are/I was ready to die for may country if that is what it takes to extend and preserve freedom.

Those who have not served their country in the military or fought overseas, just dont understand the concept of what we do/have done. Those dying for thier country love this country and love their families enough to do anything to preserve it.

Because you people have done exactly what?
Did you serve in a foreign war?
Did you pass any existing laws that help govern this country?
Did you sacrifice all you have so that fellow citizens would not have to do without?
I highly doubt it. Hypocrite.
Really, enlighten me. I'm a veteran of the 82nd Airborne Div. and although it may not be a popular war, I at least served my country in some capacity. What have you done, besides desecrating the memory of million's of men and women that have died to give you your rights by siding with criminals?
To be totally honest with all of you, I got more respect for Al-Quida than any of you. At least they're fighting for their country, not giving it away.
Maybe that's what we should call em, "El-Quida" for the terrorists they are.
