Your negative thoughts are projected from within your mind. When you realize you are being negative, first ask yourself "Why am I doing this?" or "Why do I see it this way?", really listen for your answer, as though someone else asked the question.
Then transform that same thought into something you do not view as negative, but only as an experience in life. Then, most importantly, move on and Stay in the Present.

When I get ready for a fight I just focus all of my anger on the person that I am getting ready to beat down either verbally or physically. Ignore the fear....it only gets in the way.

Find something to concentrate on that does not lead to your obsessive thoughts.
