YOUR the parent, go up to him (In front of her), inform him she is 14 and you do NOT give her permission to see him and tell him that if he does again, even if she wants or tries to, that you will file charges. She is 14, she does not control her life yet....

well if you're worried that they'll sleep together remind her that the age of consent is 16 and therefore he could go to jail if he slept with her.

otherwise put your foot down and tell her that guys that are more than 1 year older than her are off limits unti she's 18.

Come on, how much older are you than your spouse? Give her a curfew and talk to her about what you are worried about. Most of the time these relationships don't last long. I mean I was in h.s. and dated older guys, my brothers dated younger girls. It's ok, don't freak out, then she will want him even more. Keep her busy in sports and etc. trust me it won't last long at all.

Let her make her own choices on this one---please! she's 14 if she doesnt know by now right from wrong and mom and step dad have to hold her hand, when and how will she make her own choices? Invite him over to the house and make him feel welcome. Treat him how youd like him to treat you. Remember your daughter is watching you on how you treat people.
