Yes Gidget, I have noticed that trend among the Anti's.
It is a pity, really; a crying shame because the Anti's come across like they are speaking for ALL Americans, which is another "half-truth." Most 'Americans' are really very, very decent folk.
Their generosity, piety and good-will is pretty awesome. Yesterday I read in an old Reader's Digest magazine about how a Green Beret soldier discovered a horribly burned little girl in a third world country. With the courage of a true warrior he initiated the process to get this little angel help.
Soon American doctors took the ball and ran with it, not only restoring the little girl's burned face and body and ending her pain (and shame), but actually accepted her as their very own. What a shining example! Why can't all Americans be like this?
I love America. I love Texas. But the Anti's are giving us all a black eye because their real problem is that they are afraid of becoming the minority. The minute-men are not patriots. The real patriots are the Knights in Shining Armor, the true soldiers like the Green Beret in the Reader's Digest story. The Anti's are not a majority. They are just LOUD.
We are a nation of immigrants. That is what has made us great.
Let's see how many 'thumbs down' this reply gets!

I am an anti-illegal and I have never insulted anyone on the pro immigration side.
I came unto this forum when it was first new and left for the same reason. This has never really been a forum. People go about defending their friends and end up insulting the world!
Nothing much has changed since I've returned, but in some way I can appreciate the answer given by "H."
This forum does not speak for the majority of Americans and the media contributes to a lot of the misunderstanding here, as most people do not really take the time to study the real issues.
The best way is to stay away from the trouble makers; they are on both sides. I have a real problem with the ones that have appointed themselves the judges here.
Thanks for your post. You're right, it doesn't have to be that way.

Please. I see the same defensive manner from the other side, only worse. Half truths from some are when they call the so called Anti's bigots, then say racial hatred against Whites,Blacks and Tribal Members. Now if you have not seen this, you are a blind self righteous, self serving delusional being. That is by observation alone. Nothing to be scared of unless those stupid individuals have their finger on the Red button..

I think everyone on both sides should avoid attacks. However, I suspect that some things you consider half truths may just be areas where we disagree.
I don't see why the anti's should be defensive, under the circumstances.

If by Anti's you mean people that believe in the law, then I guess I am one. I don't think that we have been on the defense. I think we are right!
Oh and we don't have anything to be scared about (except maybe our country going down the drain) Illegals should be scared!
