No its not just you. I'm sick of their whining and plotting against us and their ARROGANT crap about how they're going to make Britain an "Islamic State"
Yeah over my dead body and the dead bodies of half the decent freedom-loving Brits who live in this land will that ever be achieved.

I have often read and heard questions like this before. But what a lot of people don't give thought to is the economic factor that is driving immigrants here. It's got nothing with religion. CAN YOU see the whole population of Kuwaitis, Saudis, Bharain, Qatar BEGGING to come to the UK. NO. Simply because they are rich.
Currently there are a lot of poles in the UK...they come here just for the money and send it back home where they can afford a house. That is not a new thing.
UK did the same thing in the countries it colonised. It colonised for economic gains. Did your forefathers (guessing from your pictures, you must be english) conform to the ways of the Indians. NO is the answer. Instead they were tyrants. They imposed their customs on the natives of India. They pillaged the richesof India. Even to-date the most educated english people are emigrating for economic gains...and they still want to impose their ways on the natives....travel a lot and see more....travel to Muslim countries and see how many UK and American people work there...only when ther is war you hear of them...Do any of these Muslim countries force them to wear a turban or the traditional long dress....? NO is the answer....Why can't we be fair instead of being judgemental.......
Talking about UK culture and clothing. Since when did the UK have an original clothing...You all imported from neighbouring France and Italians. Do you truly believe you have a clothing traditions. UK was initially populated of Vikings peple wearing animal skins. Did you have silk? Did you have cotton? NO way!!!. You brought from China and India...What is your way of life? Do you have one or did you take bits and pieces from all other cultures and mix them like biryani....

How does Poles working here and sending the money back to Poland help the British economy?
I think Muslims are trying to take over the west again, like they tried to many years ago, but this time we are without a Charlemagne.
Also England and the English invented the business suit, the suit that is now worn daily throughout the whole wide world.

I was born here and this is my country - So which country should I go back to?
Reading through history I don't think the British started wearing turbans etc when they were occupying the Indian subcontinent.
Yet the vast majority of muslims (and others) for the vast majority of time wear what you describe as "British" clothes.
Also, I would like to know what your way of life is? And how it differs from the way of life or values of others. Isn't your life about your work, your family, your neighbourhood, your beliefs, your friends, your home?
This might be a newsflash for you but thats exactly what my way of life is too... Except maybe that I don't drink or go clubbing or eat Pork. I don't see how refraining from any of these things makes me less British than you!
As for those muslims (and others) who complain, they only complain because they see themselves as citizens of this country and have the right to quesiton Government policy, other matters etc.

That's a can of worms kind of question, if you know what I mean. If you were to emigrate to Saudi Arabia or Pakistan, would you adopt their way of life? Would you wear the long dress things the muslim men wear, and cover your head? Would you stop drinking alcohol? Learn fluent Arabic or Urdu? Or would you choose to live with other ex-pats and have your own 'Little England'?
Look at it another way. You may not choose to emigrate to either of those places, but if you wanted to make a new start in say, Australia, would you support their cricket team during the ashes? Or would you continue to support England?
The point I'm making is, where do you draw the line? I agree with you on certain levels, but it really isn't that simple.

Cant' we all just get along. I am a firm believer that if you move to another country YOU, not the country, should adapt.
However, it is the mix of different views, cultures, languages, religions, and the liberty to choose how to live your life that make the USA and UK so attractive to the rest of the world.
It will come a time when the country will loose its former identity to embrace a new one which will encompass all the identities of its citizens.

the problem is there are TOO MANY immigrants all at once ,and they cannot be assimilated. It is too late..... we are in a mess because over the last eight years there have been no border controls. This wonderful government have allowed in masses of immigrants to keep the economy going so that they can stay in power. they will continue to allow massive flows from Romania and Bulgaria as well. Why should they conform ? should we all wear green shirts ? and red ties and part our hair on the left ? who decides ? no thanks... lets be different , but at least they should all learn English and know how to butter a muffin !

You're spot on. If you're white and Christian in the UK and not an immigrant from the EU or anywhere in the world, the government treat you like some sort of disease. What's with all these "Immigration has been great for the UK economy" statements from the government? It implies we've been sitting on our backsides for the last thirty years.
That's better.

Canadian ways are to accept people along with their culture. They can develop their own communities and maintain language and we celebrate the diversity in our country.. Which means it is not all a bed of roses because systems are not necessarily in place to allow this rosy picture to be a reality.
However, I wish our own government would stop lying to people overseas who are looking for a tolerant place to live by telling them that there are sufficient jobs and supports here. There aren't.

I dont agree with your statement about absolute conformity, but most people feel the same way you do. I'd prefer religious tolerance (on both sides) and not trying to shove a way of life down people's throats.
I do agree with your last comment tho-"if they don't like it go home and don't bring your family here with you". Why go to a place only to compain about it!
