Costco seems to have more and the quality is a little higher, as well as higher priced. Sam's club is big on bulk and savings. Thay have some high end merchandise as well, Costco just seems to have only high end merchandise. I shop at both, it just depends on what I'm looking for that day.

I only know about both from living in Mexico. Sam's Club was much, much less expensive than Costco.

I think they're exactly the same, just called different names in different geographical areas.
