Not in the physical sense but in the spiritual sense. Jesus' blood cleanses our soul of impurities and sin. That's what they're talking about, not taking a bloodbath. ew.

I tell you some of the questions you people ask. Do you truely believe we washed our bodies in the blood of Christ? Yes I am glad my sins was washed away with the shed blood of Jesus. Apparently you have no clue as to what it means.

You're taking it to literal. To say that you are washed in the blood of Jesus is not to say that actual blood is needed to be washed over you. It's an illustration stating that the blood that Jesus shed on the cross has cleansed us, or washed us, clean of our sin.
