Why do big brothers say that (us girl's) can't date @ all? Don't that get on your Last nerves?

they always say you have to wait until you @ lease 20 yrs old see i'm about to be 20 and my big brother don't want to date he said because he is a MAN and he know how another MAN is so is that true or should I go behind his back and date with out him knowing .

from a mans view, i can understand, but i think your brother is a little extreme, he wants to protect you, but all he has done is leave you unprepared for what awaits you in the real world. when we are young boys, we date girls, its a growth process, our game is developing, our skills are improving, and some of us are learning how to treat women. girls learn the games we run and how to protect themselves, you didnt get to learn that, and you are open to a lot of games we play. good luck you have a lot of catching up to do. but if you are ready to date, its time to stand up for yourself, your male friends will appreciate that. so they dont have to.

Tell your brother that you appreciate his concern for you but you're going to start dating because that's what you want to do right now at this point in your life. cuz your brother knows that guys are really scums and doesn't want you getting into it. kids in these forums think they are adults when they turn 18, but they don't really know what you are getting into. i would listen to your brother if i were you or at least why they think you shouldn't date.
