Both are excellent choices for vehicles, so it depends on your personal preferences. I'd choose Toyota because I am partial to them and have had very good experiences with them. A few years ago I traded in my 1994 Corolla. It had over 300,000 miles on it and still had the original exhaust system, and pretty much original everything else as well except for the usual maintenance stuff. I replaced only the battery, the alternator, and the water pump with that much mileage.
I hope this helps.

Both are dependable vehicles. Depends on what you like. Toyota has a more diverse lineup, but I feel that Honda makes a more "finished" product. It's all in what you like, but we opted for the Honda.

You can't go wrong with either H or T. Both make outstanding cars. Toyota makes a little bit more feature rich cars and tend to have less rust problems, etc. Toyota may have better re-sale to.
Good luck

I have a 95 Honda Civic that I bought new. 12 years and about 160,000 miles later, it's still running fine. No major repairs. I'm planning on buying a Civic Hybrid as my next car.
They're both fine companies, but I would look more at the car than the name stamped on them. Are you looking at a Camery, Accord, Civic, Prius, Corolla? I'd just look at the models you like and compare those.

They are about the same. Honda has a bit more steel in them. if you are interested in a Hybrid half electric/half gas (hybrids don't plug in by the way they charge the battery by breaking or down shifting) I would go with Honda. I average 57 miles per gallon with mine and it is a two seat insight. With the price of gasoline I would at least consider it.

It doesn't matter. Get the one you like the best and best suits your needs. They are both undeniably brilliant brands, and longevity of either one will depend largely on the care you take with the vehicle with regards to regular service. You honestly can't go wrong with either vehicle.

Get both, if you can, as the price may not be very high for the models you have in mind!
