well i am not a staff of yahoo but as a common user I should say you are leaving in a world that changing in it inevitable and one who get used to old things and doesnot update himself will be the loser this is not even true aboute tchnology but also about moralities

In a software product, the User Experience is only 1 factor (albeit an important one). Just some of the other factors that could necessitate change might be - security, bandwith, storage space, copyright, copyright infringement, introducing new technology, communication with other applications, fail/fix & MLRB.

WE software designers, don't just change stuff to upset users, ya know :-)
