Is the issue that you don't want to go to homecoming, or go with this person? If you don't want to go to homecoming then explain to her why you don't want to and suggest another activity you would rather do. If it is her that you don't want to go with then you need to be honest and tell her your feelings.
Either way, if you don't go to homecoming you will regret the loss of the memories others will have of this event later.
