I want to rotate the photos 90 degrees and shrink them down to web page size. I'm looking for freeware or shareware; I don't have Photoshop.

will do this
after u finish rotating
u can export that file to new folder
but make sure u choose the qaulity setting first
because you said u want photos for web
its better u choose like 20% quality of original photo
then export

Get the 30 day trial of Photoshop off Adobe's website... pretty sure it's fully functional for the 30 days.

Or check versiontracker.com for different apps

I have good experiences with IrFanView, a freeware program that can be downloaded from http://www.irfanview.com.
It comes in a variety of languages, including English.
