You might have laryngitis... or something more seriously wrong with your vocal cords. Get yourself to a doctor soon. Be sure to bring a pad of paper and a pen to write things down so people can understand you.

ginger in small doses with honey and black pepper, if it's minor ailment. try mint essence in very small doses. If it is a persisting problem, of course, you need medical help.
