My 3 year old is allergic to all nuts. It is a severe allergy with anaphylaxis. I carry an EpiPen incase she consumes something with nuts and starts having breathing problems. We deal with it by reading all food labels, informing restaraunt staff where we eat, carry her meds with us,not eating those foods ourselves because a simple kiss can cause a reaction.

On a minor note, I am allergic to crabmeat, so I avoid it and it's artificial form. I only get hives if exposed. I am also allergic to pollen and ragweed, advil cold and sinus takes care of that one.

My only serious allergies are to foods. If I eat honey, I will die; it's that bad. I'm also allergic to green beans, watermelon, mango, and a few other things. I keep allergy meds in my purse when I'm out, just in case, and avoid eating anything that I already know I'm allergic to.

The only thing I'm allergic to is Hydrocodone(Lortab). It causes me to break out in hives and I have trouble breathing. I just ask the doctor to prescribe something else if I need a pain med prescribed, which is very rarely.

my 2 yr old is allergic to eggs, hazelnuts, carrots and milk. Its not easy but we read all lables before feeding him. We are going to the nutritionist next week to get ideas on his diet, and always carry antihystamine with us. We also have an epipen but have not used it yet. Where I live they sell water fortified with calcium (500mg/100mg) so we give him that water instead of regular to compesate for calcium intake and give him vitamins too.

I am allergic to eggs, chicken, turkey, beets, cherries, honey, and coffee. I am also allergic to cats and pollens. I have to read labels on hot dogs and lunch meat, plus labels on breads and cereals. A lot of breads and cereals contain honey.
