Of *course* you're normal. It's Friday!!! Yay!!

The top two days of the week for people to call in to stay out of work are Monday and Friday. Creates a looong weekend.

The people who truly look forward to going to their jobs each day are uncommon. Most would rather be doing something else. So yes, if you don't want to go to work, you're normal, and well within the majority.

Many people recommend getting a job where you can get paid to do something you love, but that can backfire. If you're doing it as a job, suddenly it becomes work instead of a hobby/recreation, and you lose your enthusiasm for it... (I've seen this happen. Heck, it has happened to me a couple times.) It is worth a try, though; if it doesn't make you any happier, at least you're only back where you started, and you could end up being one of those annoyingly lucky people who suddenly start smiling for no apparent reason, thinking, "Hey, isn't it great? I get PAID to do this!"

Is it the particular job you have now that makes you not want to go to work, or is it work in general that you'd rather avoid?

YOu are better than normal. To keep it form geting worse, decise if there is something wrong with your job and start thinking about changes you can make to actual enjoy it.

Good luck
