Mine is on my left hand, a friend just married and hers is on the right. I have seen many people with their rings on the right hand and the left, so does it matter or is it just because of wherever people are from?
My friend said she's always had one on her right hand (in a previous marriage).
Not wondering who's right or wrong, just wondering why the difference?

You're right about it being where they're from...north american tradition is 4th finger left hand, european tradition is 4th finger right hand.

Sometimes this is confusing; espceially if you're looking.
In this country the wedding ring traditionally goes on the left hand; the finger next to the pinky. In other countries it is the right.
And sometimes because a person is left handed they will wear it on the right hand also. And I've seen men wear their ring on the center finger of the left hand. But I've never been brazen enough to ask them why.

For the United States it is the left hand. There are other contries that use the right hand for wedding rings.

on the left hand. The tradition began with the Greeks. They believed the left ring finger was the pathway nearest to the heart.

Your wedding ring is to be worn on the left hand. During my marriage my husband has given me additional rings which I wear on my left hand and also on my right. But my wedding ring is worn on my left.

Left... It comes from the Egyptian belief that the left ring fingers blood flow leads to the heart (soul).

a right hand ...
while in a same time i don`t believe in a rings..

UNFAIR.....

its unfair that ....
that i love you so madly ,
while you don`t know....
and to missed you so much,,,
while you didn`t feel that ...
and to tell all the world about you ,,
while you didn`t hear that ....
and to write all my poems to you ,,,
while you didn`t read them ....
and to be so jealous about you ,,,
while you didn`t realize that ....
and to wait you all the time,,,
while you didn`t come yet to me....
yes ,,,
unfair that what you do...
