No, I've seen on a couple TV shows and they say it is impossible for it to take 7 years to digest. But, it does take a little longer than regular food, but not 7 years.

it may take 7 years to digest, that is if it stayed in your stomach that long - but considering that you probably go to the toilet at least every other day I would guess that your gum will be flowing towards the ocean before the week is out - don't forget to wipe lol

No, normal motility is about 24 hr.s.Assumeing the gum isn't digested(worse case).Think about this; If you swallowed a diamond would you never be able to get rid of it (of course not)

No. it does not. Nor does it digest, it passes straight through whole. It would be like anything else you eat, about 24 hours, and if you searched, you would find it!:)

yeh coz it doesnt break up like digestable food - the enzymes cant attack its resiliant barrier therefore leave it to pass thru naturally.
