DO NOT PUT ICE ON IT!!!! Ice is for reducing swelling, use a heating pad, like the therma care since they can adhere and won't come off while you sleep at night. The reason your arm hurts is because either your were anticipating the shot and you tensed up, or the nurse just sucked and held your arm too tightly. I had a nurse do that to me in both arms AND I hate shots, so of course I was tense, and I had a hard time moving my arms for like 3 days. Heating pads are so awsome, they give a constant heat over an extendd period of time, thus relaxing the musle and soothing away the soreness. So deffinately the Therma care pads. My husband swears by them. He's in the Army and always has a sore muscle somewhere! Oh, and I guarantee a promise of a less painful arm by the morning! GOOD LUCK!

That shot hurts! You will need to wait for the pain to pass. Take tylenol and pet the puppy with the other hand. You will feel better in a few days.

This is a typical reaction to the shot. A cold pack can help some of the ache and tylenol or ibupro. can ease some soreness...it will work itself out in a couple of days....the vaccine is way better to suffer a little from instead of having the full blow diseases!!!!

Tetanus vaccinations go into the muscle, and they typically do make your arm sore for a few days. Take a pain reliever like Tylenol, and don't be afraid to use your arm, or it'll get more stiff!

Put a warm cloth on your arm and move it round and round. It may hurt for awhile, but will ease the pain so you can play with your puppy.

Tetanus shots make the arm sore for a couple days - try heat on it, but it should be gone by tomorrow

Take some Tylenol or ibuprofen. Maybe try an ice pack on it.

The more you move it, the better a it will feel and the quicker it heals. If you do not move it around, it will be sore a lot longer!!!
Start moving!!!!!!!
