No.
But I'm a BMW driver, so I try and make up for our bad image!!!
But I think that image is very outdated now, sadly there are loads of inconsiderate tossers on the road - not in any particular make of car.
Still - as my dad says "If everyone let somebody out, there would be no queues"!!
Cheers

I think the latter is true, though apperently you're an exception. As a cyclist in the Netherlands I've had many a quarrel with drivers in BMW's, Audi's and American cars and in Edinburgh too I notice I can expect BMW's to always be dangerous. Pity really, as the counts that drive them are in fact lucky sons of batches. Especially the BMW 850i is a marvellous machine - the cheap 80s Beemers however, that some young gits have pimped, are a different bredd altogether - and should be avoided with suitable disgust rather than fear.

If They Look As Though They Are Good And They Are Smiling Then I Will Let Them Out ,
This Sometimes Does Not Work And They Don't Wave Thank You ,
But What The Hey,
There Are Rude People And Polite.

I always go by the rule you use in the Boston area: The shittiest car gets right of way. The crappier the car is, the less likely they are to worry about whether they get banged up or not. They'll run right into you if they need to get somewhere.
I always let the junker have right of way. They never have any insurance.
Incidentally, around here, most BMW drivers are assholes.

As a rule, drivers of red BMWs tend to be wankers. I let most people out, unless they have edged their cars forward in a cheekily presumptuous way. And I always wave a thanks when someone lets me out, although I do agree that men acknowledge courteous driving more frequently than women.

Not at all.
Sometimes its the mood i am in. If i am in traffic, heck why not let someone in....we'll both be waiting a while anyway!
Also, as a woman, i always say thanks by a wave, or flash of the lights. Coz if the situation was reversed, i'd like the same!
Maybe some of the women drivers think that because of your flash car, your a inconsiderate so-an-so.... or that your car is a phalic extension of yourself...
Its been known to happen in the past!
Just an idea though.. not trying to be snide!

I think it might be it's jealousy - I never got let out when I drove an Audi TT, but they used to let me out when I drove a Clio and they don't seem keen now I drive a Merc! (and it's only a soddin' A-class!) Damn - I miss my Audi........
Only BMW M3 drivers are complete w*nkers, other BMW driver are OK, if not the best at indicating!
I also think it's rude when people don't acknowledge that you let them out/in, but unlike Barneyboys other half - I don't get all angry about it.......I just (very calmly) take down their reg and go blow their house up!

I drive a massive transit and work for an even bigger firm, i get paid for 10 hours work so if i can drive slowly to and from each job in the longest amount of time i generally do. So i let every one out, even women,. I'm one of the better van drivers blessed to maintain traffic management

I wouldn't be too keen on letting out elderly or little boy racers because they're either too fast or too slow! Or if someone else driving pissd me off I wouldn't let people out because I'd be in a bad mood with all drivers, I know it's generalising but it's a habit! I've nothing against BMW drivers though, they don't drive too fast or too slow, actually they drive just right (",)
