If you have a doctor, sometimes they will call you in meds over the phone. Ask for Denivir. Also, once that blister pops up, putting a cotton ball soaked in Alcohol on it several times a day will help dry it out quicker. They are nasty little boogers!

HSV-1 virus is what causes cold sores/fever blisters. Anybody may be exposed to HSV-1 just from drinking someone else's drink, utensils, shared lip balm, and by kissing someone which is carrying herpes simplex virus. The red bumps can be fairly painful blisters which could show up in the vicinity of the lips, or possibly even the inside of your mouth or nose, on the face, or somewhere else on your skin.

They could flare up because of greater stress and anxiety, colds, fever, cold conditions, certain foods, and also too much sunlight. The location could start to burn, tingle, itch, thereafter a blister will probably show up. The blister may dry out and make a yellowish crusting. Cold sores may stick around anywhere from seven days to two weeks. An individual might attempt to cover it up it by using foundation, but that generally tends to make it worse.

To remove cold sores, you might try using a cold sore special lotion, use chapstick with sunscreen, dab aloe vera, get echinacea, vitamins C and vitamin E, as well as totally keeping away from touching the cold sore. By implementing some changes in lifestyle, it really is feasible to reduce cold sores and even avoid them from reappearing.

Ask your doctor for Valtrex. Or for acyclovir cream. I use both at the same time, seems to just last a couple of days.
