There is a natural tendency of everything to seek equilibrium, this tendency can be called a kind of Universal Entropy like is described in the Laws Of Thermo Dynamics. If the Universe will die one day then will this be the thing you call GOD ?? Please be Verbose in your answers.

If GOD is bigger then the Universe we think we Understand then he certainly is not human but alien and in no way have we been made in his image. If we were made in his image his image would include an eventual death.

If you are so brainwashed to imagine a God, what is wrong if you imagine a death of god

1. By the time the universe expires humans will be extinct (the sun will explode long before the expiration of the universe). Without humans to worship Him, God is irrelevant (if you don't exist, does it matter if God does?).

2. Based upon the "rules" of freewill, supposedly God has no immediate effect on what is currently occurring in my universe (correct?). If He did have effect, he would have some answering to do for the evil in the world. Therefore, if God were already dead would it matter?

3. If God doesn't exist, or never existed, would it change the fact that I am writing this now? Does it change the fact that I care for my family and friends?

This leads to: who cares if God dies?

I've never heard of 'heat death', but I think your question is interesting. (I think the human race will kill itself off before any natural disasters or cosmic event takes us)
The question you hint at was actually, partially, debated by Greek philosophers. Its the old argument that says "If god is all powerful, then he can create a rock too heavy even for him to pick up...but if that's the case, then god is not all powerful." Its called a contradictory premises. The argument just does not hold water. Why would god (all powerful) create the law of thermodynamics in which he, too, would be subject? If EVERYTHING seeks entropy (scientific fact) then surely god is subject to this as well?
Of course the Christians will just say one of two things...1) The Lord works in mysterious ways or 2) You just have to have faith. These are the two most common 'cop out' answers to questions like this. Religion refuses to accept fact until it is shoved under their noses...just ask Galileo!

You're hilarious.... you obviously don't understand the words you are using. Equilibrium and Entropy are very close to being opposites.... Equilibrium does not state that the universe will die it will simple stop expanding... and entropy dictates that the universe is moving toward disorder.... not equality.

God is not bound by your definition of the universe and as such will not "die" if the universe does....

And I'm not sure I've ever heard any credible scientist claim that the universe is headed toward a "heat death".

Read a book before you post a question.

But I say, oh, the conceit of Earthlings to think that we can behold the entire universe — rather than just our limited little corner of it.

Beyond all that we can see or imagine — trillions and trillions of lightyears beyond — there are other "universes".

We are looking at a drop of water and imagining it to be the ocean.

Lately, scientists are thinking that the universe is expanding too quickly and too consistently for anything like a "Big Crunch" to happen. Besides, even if the universe did die, God wouldn't. He exists outside the universe.

God is outside the universe and won't be effected by any of this. And the Bible already predicted that God will create a new "Heaven and Earth" someday so this is nothing new to Christians.

The guy who thought you were talking about a big crunch when you are clearly talking about an overextending heat death was hilarious.

the bible says that there will be a new heaven and a new earth so it kinda sounds like there is more science in the bible than you think
it also says that the earth will be destroyed by fire.
and there was no mention of the laws of thermo dynamics
only Gods word.
