This is an excellent question. Because even though people get into tough situations and struggle, and even though we could help them, in many cases they need to work through it by themselves. After all, this is how we get stronger, by striving against adversity. And when they succeed, they can say to themselves, "I did it." It's a great feeling. Instead of "My friends got me through this."
It's time to offer help when someone you care about seems sure to fail. But if they indicate that you're interfering, that's a signal they want to deal with it without you. And as I said, that's fine...a good thing. So you can help a lot by not helping. Know when to stay out of it.

U have to ask urself if its worth all the trouble. And it really shoudn't backfire, coz as we all know, The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Just make sure that if u were to help, it would be beneficial to both parties

depends what you have to do. save someone out of a real trouble - i would consider. But generally, unless the person wants to be helped out, or you are clever enough to bring it home to them, subtly, that help is needed, nothing will work anyways
Good luck there

It depends on what it is. If a couple I know is having a argument then no. If fist were flying yes. It depends on the situation.

Like an intervention?
There are degrees of answers to this question.
Your 20 year old daughter whose boyfriend you don't like ...leave it alone.
Your 90 year old mother who forgets to eat for days....interfere.

I would ask myself if I were in that situation would I want someone to interfere. If so, then yes, do it. If not, then don't.

If it was family or close friend, yes. If it was someone with whom I didn't have a relationship, no.

sometimes it's best to just give your opinion and walk away. if you interfere they might hate you for it. remember everyone needs to learn from mistakes unless this is something dangerous. otherwise...stepback.
