God--Christian.
Allah-- Muslim.
By the way, that is because of the conflicting religions!
May my answer bless you. Hallelujah!

allah is the arabic word for god so no difference in that sence!
However muslims believe allah is the almighty creator of all and has never and will never be seen untill the last day.
Christians believe Jesus is god and some believ he is the son of god whereas muslims believe god can have no sons or daughters and jesus was a prophet.
That is where the 2 religons differ!

Allah is the same old jealous, petty, capricious, mass-murdering psychopathic Abrahamic death-cult diety of desert monotheism that is described in the Old Testament... Yahweh... Jehovah... whatever.
Christians seem to think that around 2,000 years ago, this diety developed some kind of Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD), in which he manifested a hippie-like personality (Jesus... spent some time on earth... now can be eaten in the form of a cracker), and a Casper the Ghost-like character with pedophilic tendencies (suspected of having impregnated a 12 or 13 year-old virgin... and being venerated for it).
Moslems, however, do not share that belief; they see him as his same-old psychopathic self, essentially unchanged since his old-testament days... except that he seems to have updated his reward system about 1,500 years ago, when he started handing over virgins (in heaven) to be defiled by insane zealots, as a show of gratitude for them having carried out mass-murder and killing themselves in his name. (I think that's what happens to Catholic nuns, after they die. Where else would they find enough virgins?)
Sweet.
I find him very interesting to note that most Christians... including Christian preachers... haven't got the slightest clue about the historical roots of their own religion, let alone any other religion.

I'm NOT a fan of Islam by any stretch of the imagination BUT Allah is just another name for God. Allah is Arabic for God.
Think of it this way:
God's name in --
Spanish is Dios
German is Gott
French is Dieu
Swedish is Gud
Italian is Dio
Therefore in Arabic it's Allah.

judaism, christianity, and islam all have the same god. they just call it different names.
People fight over which one is better because they believe that their religion is right. judaism is one of the few common religions that dont do that. im not sure about islam.
that is a good question why we have different practices for the same god. people just believe that he made the world one way and wont like it if you do this or that.

It's all the same. The one rule we should all follow is to do unto others as you would have done to you. It's very simple. Be kind, tolerant, respectful. Good luck getting our politicians and terrorists to abide by this rule.
