He didn't, God is a figment of your imagination, as are the countless gods at the site below. Why would your God be any different from them?

Your question is basically unanswerable. To try and scientifically explain cancer requires that you drop all assumptions of a higher power or Creator.

Most likely if you believe in God you won't pay attention to any realistic answer that will come forth from a science-based mind like mine. (Sorry, I don't mean to be snotty.)

Just because we sincerely try to live the way God wants us to doesn't mean we will be exempt from life's trials and sorrows. We are still part of the human race, and we suffer illness and pain just like everyone else. Jesus said that God "sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous" (Matthew 5:45).

In other words, we often don't know why God allows things like this to come into our lives. But God is sovereign, and even when life turns against us He still can be trusted. He hasn't turned His back on you when you are sick, nor is His love for you any less. After all, His Son suffered far more than you and I will ever suffer, when He took all our sins and judgment upon Himself and died on the cross for us.

The key issue isn't why God allows bad things to happen to us, however, but how we will react to them. Will we react with fear or anger or resentment—or will we react with faith and trust and peace? My prayer is that this will be a time when you draw closer to God, and you find in Him the strength and calmness you need. The Bible says, "You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you" (Isaiah 26:3).

Make sure of your commitment to Christ. Then thank Him that He is with you, and ask Him to help you trust your life into His hands every day. No matter what the future holds for us, when we know Christ we are safely in His care forever.

supposedly god created everything on earth. so if you are ill ask him to take away the troubles he has created for you. maybe cancer and diseases are his way of punishment.

Cancer sounds more like something spawned from the enemy. Why does everyone always blame God? God is all things good and the enemy all things bad. That black and white and that simple.

What gives you the notion that cancer was created by God? I don't think he did, but it's something that afflicts fallen man.

People have to die somehow, and if people just randomly died in their sleep we'd never know when people were going to die, and every death would be emotionally painful and tragic. However, if we have cancer, or other illnesses, we know that the death is imminent, and we and our families can prepare for it so that it is not quite as painful when we go. Also, Heaven is a much greater place than here on earth--the ultimate healing occurs in heaven.

It is part of the curse that was given after sin enter into the picture in the garden of Eden, There will be no more sickness in the millenium or the eternal age. We can not blame God for sickness, It was mankind that sinned, not God.
