I was looking to get a Toyota Rav4 but I do not like how they made them bigger. I really liked the size of the 2005 model. Does anyone know of anything coming out of comparable size to the Rav before this change? The CRV is also bigger now...

Try the Ford Escape
It is also available in a Hybrid version which I highly recomend.
Ford is also coming out with the Edge soon & they look pretty cool

I dont know about your budget, but Acura just released the RDX, it's a smaller version of the MDX, which is like the Honda CRV, and I think it's relatively the size of the New Ford Freestyle, not sure though...

well check out the acura RDX and the CRV is still a 5 seat SUV.. the Jeep Patriot, Dodge Nitro, Jeep Compass.. I think thats pretty much it.. oh and suzuki's got a whole new Grand Vitara.. Hyundai Tuscan, Kia Sportage.. the jeep and the dodge ones r brand new..

The ford freestyle is a nice mix of both worlds. It's already on the market. American cars are definitely the way to go.

The 2007 Jeep Compass looks pretty nice....and the price is unbeatable in that market...
