I remember every day when I put my commerative pin on my uniform. I remember every day when I go into a building and think I might not come back out, how that thought never crossed my mind before 9/11. I remember every day when I leave my wife and kids for work, knowing now I might not ever see them again. I remember every day when I still see American flags everywhere. I remember every time I fly, instead of getting mad at the 'annoying' TSA security people, I thank them for keeping us safe. I remember every time I see someone in the military. Kick some serious butt for us guys! I remember back to that day, I was working too. Had I been in a different city, it could have been me. We will never, ever forget.

do what I always do on 9/11; here the names of the victims being called out, go to church and light a candle for them and mourn.
What I remember about that day was me trying to get home. I don't drive (relied on public transportation) and I live in the Bronx and work in Queens. In order for me to get home, since all the trains were shut down, I had to get to the triborough bridge in Astoria Queens to get to the Bronx. While doing my little trek, I looked over my left side and saw the 2 pillars of smoke where the towers once stood, and all I could think about were all those people gone.

I live in America, and no, I'm not going to do anything different that day. I think there's way too much about it now as it is. The movie, etc. We've lived it, we all still feel it. We should never let our guard down, but the constant reminder isn't always a good thing. Just think of the little kids that are constantly watching this stuff. They can become traumatized seeing it, over, and over. It happened, and the best thing we can do it stay alert, but go on. ~

I will take the day off. I think 9/11 should be day of remembrance anyway and everyone should have the day off. My grandpa actually died of a heart attack on 9/11/01 while watching TV. I will be going to the cemetery, then watch TV in bed all day.

I remember feeling so defeated that day. I will take the anniversary as a chance to remember those we lost, say a prayer and know that we all have to keep moving on, striving for more, and not letting ANYONE make us feel defeated as a country. It has nothing to do with politics, I will not let anyone make me fear everyday life.

My wife worked for NW airlines when it went down. she finds that she reallly doesn't want to hear about it on that day, so we make sure the TV is not on a news station on the 11th.
Me, I make sure I have my guns clean and functional.
It reminds me that we have a obligation as a nation to protect
our way of life.

its not fair ...
UNFAIR.....
its unfair that ....
that i love you so madly ,
while you don`t know....
and to missed you so much,,,
while you didn`t feel that ...
and to tell all the world about you ,,
while you didn`t hear that ....
and to write all my poems to you ,,,
while you didn`t read them ....
and to be so jealous about you ,,,
while you didn`t realize that ....
and to wait you all the time,,,
while you didn`t come yet to me....
yes ,,,
unfair that what you do...
