Yes, it makes your hair brittle if you do it too much. But if you use heat-activating conditioners before blow-drying it will help not dry it out so much.

yes hairdrying makes the hair folicles weak, and causes it to break. so blow dry only once or twice a week, and oil your hair regularly for good healthy hair.

Any kind of heat or chemicals can make your hair brittle. If you must use a hair dryer use it on it's cool setting. Also use a diffuser. It might take longer to dry but your hair will thank you in the long run.

I got an ionizing hairdryer and it made a huge difference in how my hair looks and feels. It makes the water droplets smaller, so it dries really fast. at same time I use a small washcloth and rub my hair to remove those little droplets. Then while a bit damp I style. older hair dryers always over dried my hair and made it a bit frizzy. good luck

yes can make it dry and brittle....but use a good conditioner and shampoo to keep hair in good quality. Use the medium or low heat. It's a good idea to let hair dry naturally first. Use some serum or oil to keep hair from drying out..

It makes it dry and brittle, especially if you color or perm it. Your hair could start breaking off in half inch pieces.

Use shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair if you color it.. otherwise use shampoo and condtioner suited to your hair type. Use a deep conditioning hot oil treatment (VO5 comes to mind) every so often, according to how dry your hair is. Get your hair trimmed regularly.

If you follow these simple hair care steps, you should be fine.
