try Yahoo personals, my mate Kathy did and she is in what she terms as a perfect relationship now, after a long haul with clubs and dives and all the social clubs etc she got to a stage where she was giving up, then I said about Yahoo personals and she met Barry, along with of course a load ov weirdo's and people that didn't match her profile but she wheedled them out and got Barry in just 2 months and they are so happy....give it a go ya got nothing ta lose and its fairly safe....YOU go as far as YOU want to

A lot more easily than a 55-year old (me). So get out there! Find activities that you like to do that involve other people. Sailing club, volunteer activities, places where people are. But don't go where the men's interests are. Find someone compatible by going where your interests are. (well, except hair salons, women's clothing...you get it). Try internet dating club (I use Senior Friend Finder, but you are too young). Be safe and have yourself some fun. Good luck.

I guess the key word, is meeting a Good Guy. I would think that you would have a very good opportunity meeting someone on one of the dating/ or friend networks. I hope that you meet someone soon, it's not fair to successful and lonely. Good Luck.

I know this may sound like a stretch, but try my-space. A friend of mine has been really successful with the ladies after signing up with my-space. You may have some luck also, so why not give iot a try.

Join social/sports clubs societies that have a topic of interest that is NOT concerned with getting people together - doesn't matter what it is as long as it stimulates you - you will then be able to talk with potential partners dispassionately and get the pleasure of an outside interest.

Meet them through family and friends or simply have a night out and make conversations with people, might be hard but im sure you can do it.

might sound daunting, but it will happen maybe when you don't realise it, but be carefull there are some real pigs out there, go with your heart instinct, when you do meet someone, your heart will tell you if that person is good, good luck and be safe, but more importantly, have fun, and cheer up .
