Great golfer though.....just a poor attitude

Geez, all the Tiger haters on this board are jealous morons. Tiger never claimed to be perfect, but he is the best golfer of our lifetime and possibly in golf's history.
The problem is that the courtesy that he was taught when he was learning the game hardly exists anymore. That ,coupled with his intensity creates flashes of frustration that we've all seen.
Most of you fools have never even been on a golf course and the rest of you think nothing of talking during a backswing, or scream "get in the HOLE" with every drive....
Ever since golf has gone mainstream, it has attracted too many NASCAR and UFC type fans who don't know how to shut the f*ck up....

I watched him last week at the PGA and it is not that he is whiny he is just intensely competitive. I got to see him and his wife and dog in the neighborhood during the week and they seem so nice that I have a great respect for him as a person and family man. On the TV you only see him grimacing but the news rarely shows the drunk smart aleck that yells the cat calls as he is concentrating or the cell phone. The greater he gets the larger the crowds that follow him and the increase of goofs the want to annoy him for no reason other than to see him miss a shot because they will never be as good as him.

Are YOU whining about Tiger? Get over yourself...jealousy is not a virtue...I know a lot of golfers who hate Tiger because he is a good BLACK golfer...but he is the best I have ever seen and I would never bet against him...Do YOU play golf? do you get upset when you hit a bad shot? His attitude is great...yours is poor

Tiger is at such a higher level than the rest of the golfing world that he gets upset when he's not with in 10 feet - he's a true competitor, a winner and he doesn't settle for mediocre

It's you and your petty jealously. All great competitors whine a bit when things don't go as they want. Tiger whines more because he expects more of himself. In addition he is playing under the largest microscope in the history of Golf. Get over you Jealously and enjoy history in the making he's the best there ever will be!

I'm not sure whiny baby fits.
He gets pissed when he makes a bad shot. Who doesn't?
They just show him on TV everytime. You don't see a lot of the others.
He expects perfection from himself. There should be more people like that.

It's just you...and you've got to ask yourself why you are singling out Tiger Woods when there are dozens of other golfers whose competitiveness could be misconstrued as whininess.
I think it's a safe bet, however, that you're neither black nor Asian.

I've never seen him whine. He has every right to ask people to stop clicking their cameras, and to stop their phones from ringing when trying to concentrate. It's a tough grind mentally to keep your focus through a round of golf.

In what ways is he whiny? If I'm trying to concentrate and some bozo hasn't turned off their cell phone, I'd get ticked, too.
